Ok so today was Sunday. It was a little different than normal. Brandon had to be at work at 6 which means I had to get up earlier than the sun in order to get him there. I went back to bed after dropping him off and ended up waking up at exactly 9:11. I had just enough time to get up, dressed, and off to church this morning. Jennifer and I made it just in time. The Patch the Pirate club PeeWee group was doing a mini program. They 'sang' the Gideon song even though it was really Pastor Turner and Ms. Simpson singing it while the little ones just marched up the center aisle. It was so cute! They all had pitchers in their left hands and noismakers (trumpets) in their right hands. When the song was sung "pitchers in his left had, trumpet in his right" all the little ones would raise their pitcher when they heard pitcher and trumpet when they heard trumpet. Little Baillie, the pastor's daughter, had her pitcher upside down.
The message was excellent! We were in the book of Nehemiah. The message was about stepping out on faith.
After the service, a few of us got a little happy with our digital cameras. I was looking for some traditional photos of the building and I wanted to get a good one of myself since I am always taking the pictures and no one ever sees me. Mike Brown had his camera there and it was quite funny watching something that his camera would do. His camera has a feature allowing him to set the timer and the camera would snap three pictures within a few seconds of each other. He managed to take a few series of pictures that came out like a flip book! One set was of himself behind the pulpit "preaching". He would raise his arm, point, raise his Bible, you name it! Well watching the outcome was hilareous! He also did one of me sitting at the piano and the outcome looked as though I was playing the piano. I can play a little but its more of a tinker than actual playing.
Here are a few of the other ones I got:
this one is of me (duh) sitting at the piano. Its one of my better pictures. I love hearing the piano being played during the services. One of my favorites that is played and the choir sings to is an arrangement of Canon in D but the words focus on "Praise the Lord" It
is really beautiful.

This one is a picture of our church auditorium. I only got the front part instead of the whole back part. I do have some pictures of my pastor and his wife and daughters but I have not posted them on here due to my not having permission to do so, but if you would like to "meet" them, just go to www.libertyministriesgj.com. Then you can see a gorgeous view of the outside of the building!
Well that is all for Sunday. Until next time!
